Please complete the registration form (above) and bring it along with Proof of Age.
Once your registration is recorded you will receive a registration number and be able to take part in the Competition program.
You will receive a handbook one week after you register.
The handbook provides information on competition rules, the programs offered, a weekly calendar, entry forms and other information.
How much does Little Athletics cost?
The Centre provides the equipment, facilities and consumables that enable YOUR CHILD to participate in Little Athletics each week. The Centre fees set out below include the cost of registration with the Victorian Little Athletics Association ($40) and a basic insurance cover premium (excess applies). Details of the extent of insurance cover can be obtained from the Centre Secretary.The Centre registration fee (which is a component of your Club registration fee) allows registered children to participate in the Track & Field season, the Cross-Country season and the On Track program (for U6 and U7 age groups). Athletes will not have performances recorded unless they are registered prior to the competition day.
A typical one child registration fee to the Centre of $65 comprises the following:
- Registration fee of $50 with clubs free to charge an additional amount to cover their own costs.
- Equipment & Facilities Levy of $10.
- One Centre Handbook at $5.
A typical two child registration fee to the Centre of $125 comprises the following:
- Registration fee of $100 with clubs free to charge an additional amount to cover their own costs.
- Equipment & Facilities Levy of $20 (2 x $10).
- One Centre Handbook at $5.
- Any additional handbooks will incur a charge of $5 per handbook.
A typical three child registration fee to the Centre of $185 comprises the following:
- Registration fee of $150 with clubs free to charge an additional amount to cover their own costs.
- Equipment & Facilities Levy of $30 (3 x $10 - the maximum payable).
- One Centre Handbook at $5.
- Any additional handbooks will incur a charge of $5 per handbook.
A typical four child registration fee to the Centre of $235 comprises the following:
The costs associated with registering a family of five or more for the Summer T&F season and/or Winter Cross Country season is available upon consultation with the Centre President, Secretary, Treasurer and the respective Club President.
- Registration fee of $200 with clubs free to charge an additional amount to cover their own costs.
- Equipment & Facilities Levy of $30 (maximum of $30 per family).
- One Centre Handbook at $5.
- Any additional handbooks will incur a charge of $5 per handbook.
The cost of a new registration post January 31, 2010 and for the Winter Cross Country season (only) will be $41 for each child (and $41 for each subsequent child in a family of up to four children).
Additional Costs incurred on a "User Pays" basis are:
- Weekly Track & Field subs to the Centre of $3.00 per athlete (including U6 & U7 - On Track) apply with clubs free to charge an additional amount to cover their own costs. Clubs will be billed in arrears based on the number of athletes recorded by the Centre as having competed on any given week.
- Weekly Cross-Country competition subs of $2.50 per athlete payable on the program day, up to a maximum of $7.50 per family.
- Payment of costs associated with entry to Region or State Track & Field Championship will be the responsibility of each athlete separately. Each Club will be billed in arrears by the Centre based on the number of entries submitted to the Centre Team Managers.
- The purchase of a club singlet or t-shirt (uniform) must be purchased - usually between $30-40, organised through each individual club. All athletes require a club uniform in order to compete.
